Terms & Conditions

We will endeavour to despatch all orders of stock items placed by 3pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), the same day. Goods will be despatched by either, 1st class Royal Mail or preferred Courier depending on the weight and size of the parts ordered. Delivery charges will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Once despatched we will not accept responsibility for delayed parcels sent via Royal Mail or preferred Courier.
Delivery times may vary but most orders of stock items should arrive within 2-5 working days from the date of your order. If you do not receive your parcel within 7 working days, please contact us immediately to advise. Please note deliveries to offshore islands and remote areas may take longer. A standard carriage and handling charge will apply to each separate order raised.

Delivery Address
Please ensure that the delivery address details you supply are correct and complete, including the postcode. Parts despatched via our Courier will require a signature, once the parcel has been signed for the responsibility of the parcel passes to the customer (not the signatory). We will not accept any liability for parts undelivered due to the incorrect address details being given.
We currently only despatch within the UK mainland, Ireland and Scottish Isles.

Delivery of Goods (Damaged)
All parcels should be opened carefully, as some parts may have sharp edges, we cannot be held responsible for any personal injury caused either opening parcels or fitting parts.
If a parcel is received and the outer packaging is damaged you must note this on the couriers receipt before signing for the parcel and accepting the delivery. If the condition of the packaging suggests the items inside may be compromised please ensure the couriers receipt is marked as ‘goods unchecked’
If you receive an item that has been damaged you must contact us immediately and supply photographs of the damaged part and packaging, by e-mail to sales@awsappliancespares.co.uk or by telephone to 01603 412324
We must be notified of any claims for damaged goods with 24 hours of delivery.

Spare Parts
All spare parts are subject to design and specification changes by the manufacturer. Occasionally the part supplied may not be an exact match for the original but the manufacturer will have deemed the part a suitable alternative.

Delivery of Good (Incorrect parts)
If you purchase an incorrect part, please inform us immediately, we may be able to prevent the order from being despatched. If the items purchased have already been despatched you are responsible for the safe return of the goods.
Always obtain a certificate of posting when returning items via mail as we cannot accept responsibility for returned items that are lost in transit.
Please note we will not accept the return of any parcel that has been sent without the correct postage paid. These parcels will be treated by the carrier as undeliverable and returned to sender.

Orders can be cancelled up to 7 working days from the day following the receipt of the goods. All cancellations must be made to us in writing either by post, fax or e-mail
You are responsible for the safe return of the unused goods. You will be refunded for the goods; however, delivery charges are non-refundable, unless the goods are damaged or faulty.

Most parts we sell carry a 12 month guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship. Consumable items such as: carbon filters, grease filters (metal or material) and bulbs are not covered by this guarantee.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.

All parts supplied must be fitted by a suitably qualified engineer using the correct tools and test equipment and the appliance must be disconnected from the electrical supply.
We cannot accept any responsibility for parts that have been damaged during fitting. Any parts returned which show signs of being fitted will not be accepted for refund. Please note Timers and Modules can be damaged by static electricity, for this reason these items cannot be returned for credit once removed from their packaging.

Diagnosing faults
It is your responsibility to ensure the fault has been correctly diagnosed prior to ordering, if you are unsure of the problem with the appliance you should seek professional advise from a qualified engineer We cannot accept parts for credit which have been fitted to an appliance for diagnostic purposes.

Payment for goods
For authorised online card transactions, payment will be taken when the goods are ready for despatch. For all other transaction types, orders will only be despatched once payment has been accepted.

All sales on this site are governed by UK law. When ordering goods using this site you are entering a legally binding contract with AWS Appliance Spares Ltd
