The state-of-the-art performing arts center houses the 2,700-seat Walt Disney Theater for large-scale performances and the 300-seat Alexis and Jim Pugh Community Theater for smaller, more intimate shows.

The community was named after Dr. Philip Phillips, a pioneer in the citrus industry who eventually sold the bulk of his property to Minute Maid in the 1950s.

The opera is an occasion to dress up, so avoid anything that appears so casual that you might wear running around on the weekend. This means no denim or denim jackets, no jeans, and no sneakers.

Though dresses are the go-to outfit for an opera show, you can also sport a sophisticated pantsuit if that is more in line with your style. Opt for a double-breasted blazer and wide-leg pants for a suit that feels timeless but still has a dramatic flair.

The show is fun to watch from its dazzling costumes to its energetic dance numbers like the Can-can. While there are some cons to attending Moulin Rouge, such as the cost of tickets and it being slightly touristy, I think these cons are outweighed by the pros of going to one of the most famous cabarets in the world.

Moulin Rouge is an amazing musical and visual treat. The songs, costumes and choreography takes you back to the original Moulin Rouge setting. Many modern songs have been added but it' it all fits beautifully. The musical embraces the theme that “Life is beautiful”.

In order to welcome you in the best conditions, the doors of the Moulin Rouge will open 1h15 before the start of the show. For a “dinner-show 7 pm”, please come from 6.45 pm. End at 11 pm. For the “9 pm show”, please come from 8.15 pm.

Impressive from the outside and inside. Bars on every level of any kind of beverage one desires which is certainly more covenient than most PAC's if one needs a bottle of water, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. DH was excited as he had secured box seats, which in my experience are usually very, very good seats.

While there is no dress code at the Met, we recommend comfortable clothing appropriate for a professional setting.
